Cigarette Breakby ~Rozzers

This is my latest attempt at producing a half-decent background... and it took me forever. I had so many problems with it, changing bits I didn't like, and doing most of it twice.

It started off as an A3 sketch in my university sketchbook, which was a stupid idea really since I don't have an A3 scanner.
The majority of the painting was done in Photoshop CS, with the final stages done in Paint Tool SAI since I've bought myself the full version.

I originally wanted to make this incredibly detailed, but instead it's taken a different route and become a bit sketchy. Although thats probably just because I wanted to get it finished and move on. D:
On the plus side though, I had a lot of fun using complimentary colours and perspective.

This is a LOVELY composition. Wonderful use of color, beautifully dynamic lines... this just pops and I love it to pieces. Just thought I'd tell you that.

I really like the contrast between the warmth of the yellow and the cool of the blue. Not to mention the depth added by the perspective. Overall an awesome piece!

WOW, Crim! I absolutely love the perspective--it must've been mad difficult to accomplish--and the colors! It's lurid, but...in a good way. Saturated! That's the word. NO. Vibrant. And it's lovely, as usual--you have a talent for setting a mood. C|

Thank you Plea! I'm glad you like the colours, recently I've been using a lot of desaturated tones, so I wanted to go all out on this one XD.
It killed my eyes staring at that blue though, every time I looked away from my laptop all I could see was yellow! D:
